FIRST NATURE PUBLICATION WITH CO-AUTHOR FROM MS-OMCS!
Daniel Malheiro is co-writer on the article ”Antiviral activity of bacterial TIR domains via immune signalling molecules” just published in #Nature. We are of course very excited on Daniels’ behalf!
This study was a collaboration between the Weizmann Institute of Science and MS-Omics. Congratulations to Weizmann Institute of Science and MS-Omics. Congratulations to Rotem Sorek and his team too.

WHY IS THIS INTERESTING?
Well, Nature papers are usually always interesting! The results describe an antiviral signalling pathway in bacteria and suggest that the generation of intracellular signalling molecules is an ancient immunological function of TIR domains that is conserved in both plant and bacterial immunity. Daniel’s contribution to the paper was to apply LC-MS/MS to measure an isomer of cyclic ADP-ribose, and to confirm that it was indeed an isomer.

Feel free to share the article with your friends and colleagues.
We hope you enjoy the read as much as we did😊
