What we usually look for
We are always looking to connect with skilled scientists with solid metabolomics experience. Below we have made two profile descriptions of the scientist profiles we typically look for when we need new colleagues for our laboratories situated just north of Copenhagen.
- Analytical chemists with metabolomics experience
- Excellent laboratory skills including sample handling/extraction
- Experience with LC-MS/MS and/or GC-MS
- A PhD as a minimum and preferably at least 4-5 years of experience with metabolomics
- Experience with Thermo Exploris or Q Exactive instruments will be an advantage
The ideal candidate
- Has a high technical level
- Has hands-on experience in maintaining and troubleshooting analytical instruments
- Has an excellent overview and has an eye for details as well
- Takes responsibility for his/her projects, plans them well and strives to keep to the plan.
- Strives to improve quality on a constant basis
- Can manage and assist in different tasks from routine lab work to developing new advanced metabolomics methods
Personal skills
- A strong drive and a positive mindset
- Excellent English skills – written and orally – and excellent communication skills in general
- A team player who enjoys interacting with colleagues and customers
- Great problem-solving abilities
- A solid understanding of the advantages of mutual respect and the importance of helping your colleagues when necessary

- Data scientist with metabolomics experience
- Experience in working with data from high resolution LC-MS/MS and preferably also GC-MS
- A PhD as a minimum and preferably at least 4-5 years of experience with metabolomics
- Strong statistical skills and familiar with chemometric
- Familiar with Matlab and preferably also other scripting languages.
- Experience with bioinformatics will be an advantage.
- It is an advantage if you have experience from working in the lab.
